SIL Home
Support Independent Living (SIL) is a type of support that assists you in your daily activities. It includes having someone assist you with personal care activities such as showering and dressing, cooking meals, grocery shopping, medication management and administration, keeping your home safe and tidy, and transportation to and from appointments. We will help you develop various skills, allowing you to live independently. This service is designed explicitly for NDIS participants who have higher support needs. For instance, if you need overnight support, 24/7 care, person-to-person work provided by a support worker, or significant help throughout the day.

HiFive Newcastle conducts various group day activities to unite people through engaging and enjoyable group activities. These activities include outdoor adventures, cultural workshops, and skill-building classes. They are held at various locations in Newcastle, depending on the nature of the activity. Some are based on special events or themes according to seasons or holidays. These group day activities benefit the participants and the Newcastle community by fostering a sense of belonging and community spirit.

We can help you find, participate in, and maintain any social or recreational activity. This could include meeting new people, keeping friendships, and participating in activities you enjoy, such as swimming, shopping, bowling, or simply spending time in the community. We can help you find out what activities are out there that you might enjoy and then help you participate in them.
